Import listings from KV.ee, Resolve or an XML file
Bring your agency's listings over automatically from KV.ee or Resolve, or import them once from an XML file, and see what happens to imported listings and brokers.
Owners and admins set up imports on the company settings page. There are three ways in: the automatic import from KV.ee, the Resolve connection, and a one-time XML import. Imported listings are billed like any other company listing, and there is no import fee.
Automatic import from KV.ee
- Copy the automatic import link from your KV.ee broker account. The City24-format link from the same account works too.
- Open the automatic import card and paste the link into Automatic import URL.
- Press Preview. The preview shows which listings will be added, updated or expired and which brokers will be added. Nothing is saved yet.
- Press Import.
The listings are published right away. After that they are refreshed about every 12 hours, and Sync now runs the import at once. Disconnect stops the updates, and the imported listings stay. To use a different link, press Replace import link.
Resolve CRM
First, in Resolve:
- Log in to your Resolve account
- Open Seaded → Väljundid (Settings → Outputs)
- Create a new output named leiakv.
- Copy the generated API key
Then on leiakv, open the Resolve card, paste the key into Resolve API key, press Test connection and then Connect. The first sync starts at once, and after that listings sync about every 30 minutes. Sync now starts a sync right away. The company must be active to connect.
If you press Remove, automatic syncing stops and the imported listings are turned into drafts. If you connect Resolve again within 30 days, they come back as they were. A Resolve listing that was archived in Resolve, or turned into a draft by disconnecting, is deleted after 30 days and comes back as a new listing if Resolve sends it again. A listing you pause yourself on leiakv, or one hidden because it has no images, is kept.
Scoro CRM
If you use the Scoro real estate module, open Settings in Scoro, add a new output named leiakv.ee and save. Scoro creates a username and password for that output. Then, on leiakv, open the Scoro card, enter Scoro address, Username and Password (and a note if you like) and press Send. We set up the sync for you, and activation takes up to 48 hours. The card shows when the details were sent, and Change details lets you send them again.
One-time XML import
For an agency on another system, the One-time import card on the settings page takes a listings file in the KV, REDE or REOS format.
- Choose XML file and pick a file of up to 10 MB, or choose Feed URL and enter an HTTPS address that returns the XML.
- Under Publishing, choose Save as draft or Publish now (active & public). Listings are imported as drafts - you review and publish them yourself later. No daily charge applies.
- Press Preview, check the preview and press Import.
A company can also send listings (REDE, KV.ee or City24 XML) to its import address with an API key that has the Import permission, and fetch its own listings in the REDE format. Add dry_run=true to a send to check the file without saving. Keys are created under API Keys at the bottom of the settings page.
Preview, safety pause and skipped listings
Connecting the KV.ee import and every one-time import start with a preview. If an active listing is missing from the source, the import expires it, and the preview warns you before that happens. A listing your feed removes is deleted 30 days later, and it comes back as a new listing if the source adds it again. A listing the feed still sends as sold, and one you pause yourself, is kept.
If an unusually large part of the listings would disappear at once, the import shows this: This looks like an incomplete import - removals are paused for safety. Re-check the import source and try again later. New and updated listings will still be imported, but nothing will be removed.
Some listings were skipped or hidden because of missing data (no photos or no location). Check these listings in your import source - once the data is added, they are restored automatically on the next import.
Brokers named on imported listings are added to your team automatically. A new broker gets an account and a welcome email, a broker who already has an account gets no email, and a broker without an email address gets no account. You find them all on the team page - see brokers from an import.
Editing imported listings
You can edit an imported listing, but the next sync can overwrite your changes:
- KV.ee and XML imports: Data is synced from the source. When the listing changes there, the fields it sends, including text and photos, overwrite your changes here. Fields the source doesn't send, such as the URL, keep your edits. Ownership, attribution and status follow the source.
- Resolve: Data is synced from Resolve. When the listing is edited in Resolve, the fields it sends, including text and photos, overwrite your changes here. Fields Resolve doesn't send, such as the URL, keep your edits.
An imported listing's contact details come from its import source and cannot be changed here. Edit the listing in your own system to keep a change for good.
