Real estate auctions

At an auction the seller sells the property through open bidding. Every bid appears on the listing page live.

How an auction works

  1. 1

Register. Sign in and send a request on the listing page: first name, last name and phone, plus the registry code and basis of representation if you bid for a company. Taking part is free and there is no deposit.

  2. 2

The seller approves. The seller reviews your request and approves it, asks for corrections or declines it. On approval you get a bidder number, which is how the public bid history shows you.

  3. 3

Place a bid. Once the auction is open, beat the highest bid by at least the bid step. The first bid may equal the starting price. Bids are whole euros and cannot be withdrawn.

  4. 4

The end and what follows. A bid in the last 5 minutes moves the end 5 minutes later, up to 2 hours in total. After the close, the highest bidder and the seller receive each other's contact details and agree the next steps between themselves. If the listing has a reserve price that is not met, the seller still gets the contact details and decides whether to sell.
