Historia ja luonne
The Rapla area has been inhabited for thousands of years. In the Middle Ages, the territory belonged to the Saare-Lääne Bishopric and the Livonian Order. Rapla Church is one of the oldest and largest village churches in Estonia, dating from the 13th century. Manor culture has left numerous well-preserved estate ensembles in the region.
