Kodila is a small and quiet area on the northwestern edge of Rapla parish amidst forests, bogs, and marshes, captivating with its nature-closeness and homely appearance.
A village square with a song stage has been built in the village, where community events take place. Several car repair shops operate nearby and there is a children's playground right next to the building. The village also has its own shop for convenient daily necessities with card payment available, so getting a quick milk and bread or other essentials does not require a trip to the city.
The public transport network covers the villages of Kodila, Kelba, Kõrgu, Ohulepa, Palamulla, Raka, Tapupere, and Tõrma.

Behind the house opens a view of the field and a forest rich in mushrooms – an ideal place for walks, berry and mushroom picking, or simply enjoying the silence.
Kodila bird bog and Sõbesoo bog are located in the area.
