# Request access to sell by auction

Ask leiakv for the right to run auctions as a private person or for a company, and see what each message on the request card means.

Anyone with an account can take part in an auction, but only sellers leiakv has approved can run one. You ask for that right on the [auctions page](https://leiakv.ee/en/auctions). How an auction works is in [auctions](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/tenders).

## Request access

1. Sign in and open the [auctions page](https://leiakv.ee/en/auctions). If you are signed out, the card offers **Sign in** first.
2. In the card **Want to sell by auction?**, press **Request access**.
3. Wait for the decision. We email it to you.

## Ask for a company

The card follows your active profile. To ask for a company, first make it your active profile - see [switching between profiles](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/profile-switching). Only the company's owner or an admin can send the request, and the decision email goes to the company's owners and admins. Other members of the company see **Ask your company's owner or admin** instead of the button.

## What the card says

- **Your request is in review. We'll let you know once there's a decision.** - the request is waiting for a decision, so there is nothing more to do.
- **Your request was declined.** - the card also shows when you can ask again. Until then the button is not shown.
- **Access is suspended.** - access you had has been suspended. Use **Contact support** on the card.
- **You can run auctions now.** - you can run auctions. **Add a listing** starts a new listing; how to turn it into an auction is in [run an auction](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/tenders#run-auction).
- **This company cannot request auction access right now.** - the company cannot ask for access right now.
- **Couldn't check your access. Try refreshing the page.** - refresh the page.

## If you do not see the card

The card is not always shown. If it is missing, or you would rather ask us directly, write to us from the [contact page](https://leiakv.ee/en/contact) and say whether you sell as a private person or for a company.

## Fee

An auction carries a flat fee, shown on the [pricing page](https://leiakv.ee/en/pricing). Vouchers apply. How the fee is paid is in [run an auction](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/tenders#run-auction).
