# Change your listing's web address

Every listing gets a readable web address. You can change it later, and links you have already shared keep working for 3 months.

Every listing has its own web address, built from the property's location and type. You can replace it with your own address at any time.

## How the address is made

When you create a listing, the **Preview** step shows **Your listing URL**. The address is made from the property's location and type, and a short code is added if the same address is already taken. Use the **Generate another variation** button to get another variation before you publish.

## Change the address

1. Open [My listings](https://leiakv.ee/en/my-listings) and press **Manage** on the listing.
2. Press **Change URL**. The listing editor opens at **Listing address**.
3. Press **Change address**, type the new address in **New address** and press **Save address**.

On your listing's own page, **Actions** and then **Change URL** opens the same place. **Copy URL** next to the address copies it for sharing.

The address may contain only lowercase Latin letters, numbers and hyphens, and must be at least 3 characters and at most 100 characters long. Addresses that are already taken or reserved for the site's own pages cannot be used.

> You can replace the automatic address right away. After you have chosen an address yourself, you can change it again after 30 days.

## Old links keep working

Links you have already shared and saved bookmarks are redirected to the new address automatically. The old address keeps redirecting here for 3 months, after which it stops working. Update the links in your own ads and social media posts before then.

## If the change is refused

- This address is already taken. Please pick another one.
- This address is reserved. Please pick another one.
- Another address change is in progress. Try again in a moment.
- The address has been changed too many times. Try again later.

An imported listing keeps the address you choose - the import does not change it.
