# Delete your account

Delete your account and personal data for good, and what happens to your listings, messages and companies.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your profile, photo and contact details are removed, and you can no longer sign in.

## Before you delete

- **Your listings.** Deleting the account does not close your listings one by one. Set the ones you no longer want to show to **Draft** or delete them first - see [edit or delete a listing](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/edit-listing#status).
- **Companies you own.** If you own a company that has other members, make another member the owner on the company's [team page](https://leiakv.ee/en/company/team) first, or remove the other members - see [company team](https://leiakv.ee/en/help/company-team). A company where you are the only member is closed together with your account, and its listings are hidden from the site.
- **Invoices.** Download the invoices you need from [My Transactions](https://leiakv.ee/en/profile/transactions) - after deletion you can no longer sign in to get them.
- **Saved-search email alerts.** The e-Agents (email alerts) for your account's email address are deleted too, including ones created without signing in.

## Delete the account

1. Open the [Danger Zone](https://leiakv.ee/en/profile#profile-delete-account) card at the bottom of your profile.
2. Press **Delete Account**.
3. Read the warning and confirm with **Delete Account**.

You are signed out and taken to the home page.

## If deletion is refused

- **Please sign out and sign back in to perform this action.** For your safety, deletion needs a sign-in from the last few minutes.
- **You own a company that still has other members. Before deleting your account, make another member the owner on your company's Team page, or remove the other members.**

## Your conversations

Your conversations will be preserved for other participants, but they will no longer be able to send you messages.
